Math Reflection

In maths I find somethings hard and easy. The thing that is easy is Math Whizz because they show you an example and after that you have to do the test of what they showed you.
Now in maths I'm getting faster at adding numbers and subtracting.
My group is called Crafty Circles and we are learning to split numbers into parts instead of counting on.
Maths helps me get better in all number problems and it is the thing that I need to know best because I'm not doing well at the moment.
Now all I need is to try my best with my times tables.
In Addition and Subtraction I am on Stage 4.

My Pencil

My pencil is made of wood.  Inside the pencil is a lead that is what you write with. A pencil is very useful when you draw and write even when you create things on paper.

Pencils are long and sharp, also easy to use and to hold. Writing tools are sometimes blunt when you don’t sharpen them. Some pencils are shaped like circles or hexagons, they can also be colorufl and thin.

My drawing friend can be as hard as a rock and can be as sharp as a thorn or needle, not a lot of pencils have rubber’s on top. Some of my learning tools are sometimes colorful and the same color.

My writing instrument is sometimes in the classroom,at home or inside my school bag. My tools lead only break when I hit it on the table.

The special thing about writing tools is that you can rub the mistakes if you make one and you can also write lightly and dark.Also my learning tool can do anything but it doesn’t stand by itself you have to hold it.

NZ Sign Language Awareness

This week is NZ Sign Language,we learnt how to say our name in sign language.

My Mother

The women that loves me is my mum because I am so special to her.

She is very good at her job and always tries her best in everything she does. She also is my hero because she tells me that I should try my best in school.

My mother is a beautiful women, she has long blondish hair and she always wears lipstick. My Mum’s favourite colour is gold and silver because whenever she goes to work she always wears gold and silver rosary beads. My mum is like no other mum in the world, because she is very sensitive and really cares for her children. My mum is someone who doesn’t like violence and also doesn’t like getting into arguments with my dad.

Cecelia which is my mum, loves a treat of chocolate brownies and  sometimes homemade chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Also my mum loves going to the park with my family and she always wants to play volleyball with the adults and she is sometimes helps me with my homework.

My mum is a special woman to me even when she is mean to me. That is why I love my mum so much more than anybody else in the world.
